Sister Marie explains how this stuffed bear was placed on the rock in the garden twenty-four years ago by a former resident named Dennis who passed away. The bear has never been moved or touched and it has remained in the same spot all the years despite snow and rain. The St. Francis Community feels that it is simply related to the belief that Dennis’s spirit will always remain with them.
