Rippling Waters
Composting
HOME PAGEUnique_Maine_Farms.html

The Composting Facility was completed in 2008 with the assistance of the Natural Resources Conservation Service.  The leaves and compost added to the fields at Rippling Waters Organic Farm has helped with the raised permaculture beds

and with an improved yield and soil structure.

Journey person Brenna Mae works on the tractor.

The tractor is used to turn the compost.

Community members can help by bringing composting materials to the farm such as leaves, hay, sawdust, seaweed, and pet manures.
