Each August,  Richard Silliboy is invited to participate in the Maine Native American Summer Market sponsored by the Shakers at Sabbathday Lake in New Gloucester.  There is a long-established relationship that has formed between the four tribes of Maine Indians and the Shakers in regard to the artistry of making baskets.
