Pictured is an Ephraim Hall cucumber.  The seeds were passed down in the Ephraim Hall family, starting in the early 1800’s.  Ephraim Hall of Nobleboro, Maine, served in the War of 1812.  

It is a large, white, delicious cucumber.

The late Ann Johnson is pictured in the photo on the left.  She was very supportive of the Medomak Valley High School’s Seed Saving project and other school gardening programs.  She used the flax for  demonstrating the process of making linen.
