The three Hillview Community Gardens are located at 77 Rideout Ave. They are situated at the Hillview Housing Complex. The three
community gardens are maintained by families as well as a children’s garden. Resident Garden Coordinators help to lead the program where nearly forty families grow hundreds of pounds of their own produce. Over a hundred youngsters take on the responsibility of caring for the children’s garden, helping to harvest and sell vegetables at the weekly roving Veggie Stand and preparing a nutritious and delicious weekly Harvest Dinner.
