Mary Quinn Doyle of West Newfield, Maine, has set up three tents of used

and new books in the field on the Doyle property as a fundraiser for the Unique Maine Farms’ project.

All the hardcover and softcover books in the tents are selling for one dollar or

less. The used DVD’s are one dollar. Brand new DVD’s are two dollars.

Videotapes are fifty cents.

To limit the amount of people on their property at one time, the books and plants that are for sale in West Newfield can be seen by appointment only. The Doyles are practicing

social distancing and will be wearing face coverings when people visit. They respectfully

ask that visitors to their property kindly do the same.  Thank you!

There are various genres of literature for sale including many fiction and

non-fiction titles and many national best sellers. There are some children’s books, many sports books, some cooking books, health-related books, classics, computer manuals, many romances and countless other categories.

At this time, payment options include cash or checks for the purchase of books and plants.

In a difficult time when access to many activities have understandably been

limited, the Doyles hope to offer an opportunity in a safe and rural setting
that promotes gardening, reading, and the outdoors.
